Friday, May 20, 2011 Made some major progress on my website by actually reading the instructions on how to do what I want. What a concept! Started new piece yesterday that I hope to get to in a few minutes before the daily picking up of the kids/making dinner routine ensues. My new piece is the elevated subway tracks that loom over New Utrecht...channeling my Popeye Doyle in my porkpie hat. Artistically it has everything to do with the previous piece "Kentile". Diagonal line traversing the sky...guess it needs more exploration or I wouldn't have been drawn to it again...get it? "Drawn too" I'm sooo funny.

Website sort of makes sense now! I thought this day would never come! Hurray for me! Ok now back to work on the third and final piece of the "Coney Island Trilogy"..."The Big Wheel"
