A fun night was had by all at The Reich Paper Pop up show Friday March 27th. This show is part of The Stand series weaving artists and communities together. So great to have an art event right in my own neighborhood and I sold out all 4 of my watercolors!
Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 03:24PM My first showing of 2015 will be tomorrow night in DUMBO! Come out to The Bridges restaurant at 66 Water Street to enjoy a great night of art by fellow landscape artist James Rose, photographer Chad Weisser and me! All the artwork is examining the iconic views of DUMBO and of course it's Bridges! Great food and drink specials all night. It's a cool affordable space...Hope to see a bunch of you Thursday March 5th 5pm-midnight! 25% of all artwork sales good to Chips Soup KItchen so brave the elements for art and humanity. We're used to it by now!

Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 01:31PM Well, the Holidays are here! It's that exciting time of the year when one contemplates how to find great, unique and thoughtful gifts (hopefully not too expensive!) for your dear ones. Here are two suggestions that involve my art....Surprise!!!
On the first weekend in December come down to the Brooklyn Historical Society in Brooklyn Heights and check out my art of course but also 30 other artisans who make some really fabulous, cool and one of kind items for gift giving. I can attest to their greatness since I have been working on curating this juried show since July! Free admission to the museum and my cookies and cider to boot!

Seventeen Brooklyn artists will be featured at the NYCreates 11th Holiday Craft Fair Dec. 6-7, 2014, in the landmark Brooklyn Historical Society’s Great Hall. Of the 40 artisans, fine artists and photographers from all boroughs, those from Brooklyn represent Gowanus, Park Slope, Bay Ridge, Brighton Beach, Bath Beach and Carroll Gardens, as well as Greenwood Heights, South Slope, Red Hook, Dyker Heights, Bedford Stuyvesant and Sheepshead Bay. NYCreates is a non-profit organization [501c3], committed to expand opportunities, visibility and marketability of NYC’s crafts artists and artisans.
Among these artisans and artists, the largest number specialize in handcrafted ceramics. The Brooklyn artists also include a jeweler, candle maker and crochet expert, as well as a photographer and fine artists who will exhibit and sell their best work in time for the holidays.

From the folks who gave Brooklyn the Gowanus Night Market I've been selected to be one of the Brooklyn artists participating in Pop2 in a "5500 vacant comercial space in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn' (200 Livingston St). "The market will offer a mix of DIY gift making stations for makers at heart wanting to personalize their shopping experience as well as Brooklyn based vendors selling one of a kind items" ...that would be me! The event is sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery and some fantastic food trucks will have vittles so to me it sounds pretty wild & wonderful....have fun while you shop!
