What I've been working on this July

Despite the challenges of keeping an 11 year old boy entertained during summer vacation I have managed to produce art. thank god for X box! I just completed my first of a series of seascapes inspired by a trip earlier in the month to Fire Island. Completely different from some often tedious cityscapes I want to tear my hair out over. I guess it's my reward after finishing the labor intensive "Wonder Wheel". It's a nice change to be able to work in a fluid motion that comes with organic shapes and the sea. The jetties remind me of Easter Island for some reason...more to come!
